FAQ
What sorts of businesses do you write for?
I write for companies that don’t have the manpower in-house to produce all of their sales and marketing copy, and help those that haven’t got the branding or writing knowledge to sort out their brand, product or service stories. It doesn’t matter if you’re a product-based business or a service provider, a solopreneur or micro-business, SME or multinational.
Can I pay you per word?
No, I charge by the project. Being pithy is an art form and short copy can take just as much research, time and effort to write as long copy.
Can I pay you by the hour or the day?
Yes and no. There’s more to writing than just words per minute: briefing, research, creative thought, editing and proofreading all play a part. I charge by the project to ensure you get all of these benefits without having to clock-watch or stress about exceeding your budget.
When you hire me on a retained basis, you buy 15-hour blocks of my time, which you can then spread out across three months to address your ad hoc writing needs.
How much will my project cost for you to write?
Every project is different, so you’ll need to tell me what you’re after. Email me at hello@writability.co.uk or use the contact form to get a quote for yours.
What if I don’t like what you write for me?
I’m invested in your success and want to make sure the copy works for you. That’s why two rounds of amends are built into every project, meaning you can flag any concerns with the draft copy and get things rewritten how you’d prefer.
How soon can you deliver my copy?
It depends on how many things you need writing and their complexity. Email me at hello@writability.co.uk or use the contact form to tell me what you need.
